The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall
This photograph was taken by the photographer from the Pawling Fire Department, Dutchess County, New York City, USA. He captured the following image after the car accident. Some call its angel and some say’s ghost.
In 1924, due to gas fumes, James Courtney and Michael Meehan and crew members of the S.S. Watertown were killed. The sailors were buried at sea off the Mexican coast. After several days, the ghostly faces of the sailors were clearly seen by other members of the crew in the water following the ship, which caused a fear and uproar. When the faces again appeared in the water, the ship’s captain, Keith Tracy, took six photos, then locked the camera and film in the ship’s safe. When the film was processed by a commercial developer in New York, five of the exposures showed nothing but sea foam. But the sixth showed the ghostly faces of the dead seamen. The negative was checked by the Burns Detective Agency and revealed no tampering.
Late Peaches Geldof was an English journalist, television presenter, and model. She one day shared a photo of herself and son Astala in the bath. The hand of what could be a ghost can be seen just above her shoulder.
