A recent study has revealed that healthy fat found in oily fish will reduce your depressed state mind. The oily fish such as trout, salmon, tuna, herring, swordfish and mackerel will help you to overcome depression.
The study says eicosapentaenoic acid also known as EPA, docosahexaenoic acid also known as DHA and Omega 3 Fatty acids which found in oily fish will reduce the major depressive disorder also known as MDD.
This analysis is done with 13 studies and 1233 participants. Dr. Roel JT Mocking from the University of Amsterdam lead the analysis, according to him the intake of EPA, DHA, and Omega 3 Fatty acids have resulted in the drastic positive change in depression state of the participants. He also said this could be the next step to treat depression and other depressive disorders.
This study is published in Translational Psychiatry.
